Quick Overview

On a cold night in February was that rare occasion to photograph a total lunar eclipse. It took well over 300 photos to get the exposure just right That's the planet Saturn to the left. The star above is Regulus in the constellation Leo, one of the brightest in the sky, often occulted by the moon. It was indeed a special night and I was lucky to have captured this image, the one and only perfect. (Thanks to Wikipedia for some of info on Regulus!)
